Difference Maker
This is the player who can be a starter or a sub, but automatically impacts the practice, game, and team. This student-athlete hustles, rebounds, takes charges, gets to the foul line, and collects stats that do not show up in writing. They truly change the approach and performance of the team!
Outstanding Defender
This player displays a passion for defense and executes our defensive system on a daily basis. This student-athlete demonstrates high quality closeouts, jump-to-ball, help side, and communication during each defensive possession. As a result, the team becomes a stronger defensive unit.
Most Improved
This student-athlete shows the coaching staff and the team over the course of the season that they are truly dedicated to becoming a better basketball player. This dedication shows itself when the player demonstrates enhanced defensive, offensive, and overall basketball skills. During the course of the season this student-athlete has developed into a player that contributes to the overall success of the program.
