A message from Counseling Team
Hello Thornton students and families,
We hope this email finds you healthy and well. We want to thank you and let you know what an honor it has been to work with you during the 2019-2020 school year. Fourth quarter has been a unique time with many challenges. We appreciate your grace and patience as all of us navigated remote learning together.
Before we close the chapter on this school year, we want to wish you a low-stress summer break. We hope you are able to spend time with family and friends, do something you enjoy, and get to relax and recharge. We know there have been additional challenges throughout these past few months and we want to make sure parents and students have the resources they need to ask for help throughout these next few months. You will find resources below that include access to mental health options too.
As a reminder, the Thornton High School Counseling team and offices will be closed for summer break. Access to communication (email and voicemail) is limited over the summer and we are not available for immediate assistance. Any messages will be responded to in August upon our return. We look forward to seeing you in the fall rejuvenated and ready for another great year!
