AFTER PROM COMMITTEE SEEKING DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS
The After Prom Committee is planning a safe, secure event and is seeking assistance with:
- Money - make checks payable to Thornton High School
- Prizes, gift certificates, food
Thornton High School Parents: Volunteers are also needed to be face painters, prize table cashiers, casino dealers, food court assistants, carnival handlers, and decoration helpers.
Contact Joni Cochran, 720-972-4819, with your name and day and evening phone numbers if you can help with money, prizes, gift certificates, food, or if you are able to volunteer for After-Prom.

Tickets will be sold March 6-March 20 for $35 each and March 27-April 7 for $45 each. Tickets will be sold at the last 30 minutes of periods 4, 5, and 6 in the bookkeeper's office. No tickets will be sold at the door or during Spring Break.

Prom hours are from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and After Prom runs from 11:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Prom and After Prom are open only to THS Juniors and Seniors, and their dates (no middle school age students allowed). All dates of Juniors and Seniors, including THS underclassmen (9 th or 10 th graders), must have submitted a guest pass. Guest Pass deadline is 3:00 p.m. on April 20. Doors will close for admission to Prom at 10:00 p.m. and students may not re-enter if they leave. Doors to After Prom will close at 1:00 a.m. , and there is no re-entry for students who leave. All students attending Prom and After Prom must show a photo ID (current school ID if they are THS students) at the door.
Dress Code:
Please note that while a tuxedo or a formal is not required, we do expect students to dress ap-propriately. (Denim and T-shirts are not acceptable.)

You will need to pay for parking in any of the lots. If you do not pay, your car may be ticketed and/or towed. Thornton High School will not be responsible.

AFTER PROM 2006
Viva Las Vegas !! is the theme for this year's After Prom party sponsored by THS parents. The annual event, designed as an alcohol-free, safe place for students to gather after the prom, will be held in the THS Field House following the prom on April 22, 2006 . Please note the following information:
The After Prom party is open ONLY to juniors and seniors and their dates, and is intended for students who attended the prom. Dates must be in high school (no middle school age students allowed).
Tickets for After Prom will be included with the prom tickets.
Juniors and seniors (no 9 th or 10 th graders) who do not choose to attend Prom may purchase tickets for After Prom at the door for $10.00. They may NOT bring dates. There is no advance purchase for After Prom tickets.
* Doors open at 11:30 p.m.
* Doors will close at 1:00 a.m.
* Once students leave, they may not re-enter.
* The party will end at 3:00 a.m.
* Students must present their THS ID for ad-mission, and guests must have submitted the guest pass required for Prom. Guests are required to have a photo ID with them also.
Students will enjoy games, music, casino tables, food and prizes. Parents are invited to help for the night-volunteers are still needed to help run booths, activities or help decorate/clean-up. Please call Joni Cochran at 720-972-4819 to volunteer. |
