English Language Development

English Language Development (ELD) is an instructional program for students whose dominant language is not English. The purpose of the program is to improve the students' English language proficiency so they can attain academic standards and achieve success in the classroom. ELD classes teach different language skills, depending on students' English abilities and needs.
