Morning Announcements

If you are interested in the Spain/Italy trip, please come to a meeting on Tuesday, April 16, room 534. Also, see Ms. D'Orazio if you have not picked up information packets yet. There is a $200.00 discount in effect if you sign up for the trip by April 24. See you at Tuesday's meeting.

If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer, Key Club will be making sandwiches for people who are homeless on Friday, April 19 after school from 3 to 4.  If you would like to help, please see Ms. Putsches or Dr. Wright.    

Attention all girls interested in participating in Girls Volleyball next year. Open gyms are currently being held every Tuesday and Thursday 5p-7p. Feel free to come check it out and be part of something fun!" 

Not much time left to get that free money for college!  Make sure you fill out your FAFSAs and ask your counselor or visit the INSPIRE room for help! 

Hey Trojans, do you have any books lying around? NHS is holding a book drive for the Children's Hospital from Monday April 15 to Friday April 19. To donate you are new or gently used books, bring books to Room 430, or to the upper commons after school on Wednesday April 17. You can also message the NHS Facebook page, and we can pick them up.

VOIHCE Youth Advisory Board is meeting in Room 424 after school Tuesday April 16! VOIHCE advises the clinic and works on health, wellness, and safety topics. Join VOIHCE to gain leadership experience, discuss real issues, and enjoy free food. Hope to see you there! 

Hey Trojans, it is your girls from the Girl up Club! Shout out to all of you who bought chocolate and Yuda band bracelets to help support girls go to school. We are happy to announce that we raised over $500. Thank you so much for your support, don’t forget we are hosting a movie screening for “he names me Malala” this Wednesday April 17, 2019, in the auditorium from 1 to 3 pm, FREE MOVIE and EVERYONE IS WELCOME

Thornton high theatre company presents the hilarious musical comedy “anything goes” Thursday, Friday, Saturday, April 18, 19 and 20 at 7pm in the Thornton high school auditorium.

Tickets on sale during lunch this week Monday through Friday in the commons or reserve them by calling the main office. Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 with THS ID, free for ages 11 and under and military members with ID.

SENIORS - Time is flying.  You can beat the end of the year rush by seeing Mrs. Frazier, the bookkeeper, and paying your fees!  Alternatively, come and get a statement of amount due so you can come and pay her!  Remember, all fees need to be paid before May 8!  Beat the rush, pay now!
