Business students use skills to host in class market

Thornton High School business classes utilized their entrepreneurial and marketing skills by hosting an in class market. Students created items to sell such as crafts, baked goods, or other snacks and engaged in a friendly competition to see whose products were most in demand. This real world simulation provided an opportunity for all students to see what it is like to create and run a business.

This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Diverse Learning. Sharing stories of how students receive engaging learning experiences and the focused-attention they need through appropriate student-to-staff ratios and varied programming.
