I grew up in a small town on the east end of Long Island, New York. I obtained my Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego, then moved to Colorado shortly after graduating. After working in residential facilities with at-risk youth for about 6 years, I decided to obtain my Master of Special Education from Metropolitan State University.
This 2019-2020 school year will be my third year teaching Mathematics at Thornton, and supporting students in Special Education. I thoroughly enjoy teaching mathmatics and am committed to making the curriculum attainable to students of all levels and learning styles. This year I will be teaching Foundations II as well as Integrated Math I supported with Mr. Rold.
