Hi!
My name is Michelle Laurent and I am the School Counselor for students with last names Mer-Pq. This is the start of my eighth year as a counselor and before coming to Thornton I worked at Glenwood Springs High School. Before embarking on my career, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and then went on to earn a Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I enjoy supporting students and their families with academics, social/emotional, and career/college options. Outside of work I enjoy traveling and being in the outdoors with my family and friends, specifically paddleboarding with our dogs :).
