My name is Veronica Vang and I am one of the counselors at Thornton High School. This is my fourth year at THS!
I was born in Argentina and moved to the United States when I was 8-years-old. My family and I lived in California for one year prior to settling in Denver, Colorado. I am a first-generation Hmong-Argentinean American and come from a big family. I graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in Ethnic Studies and Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder and my Masters’ degree in School Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. I am very excited to be a part of the Trojan family and look forward to providing academic, socio-emotinal, career and post-secondary support to our students, parents and community. When I am not working, I love to travel, spend time with my family and friends, cook, bake, dance in Zumba classes, and go nature-sight seeing. I also really like milk teas!
I look forward to working with you, please do not hesitate to contact me!
